INVITATION FOR BIDS

Project RURAL ROAD MAINTENANCE WORKS

Client: Harari Transport and Road Development Bureau

Program; Rural Connectivity for Food Security Program (RCFSP)

The Harari Transport. and Road Development Bureau, under the Rural Connectivity for Food Security Program (RCSFP) financed by the World Bank, invites eligible and qualified contractors to submit sealed bids for the maintenance of the following rural road projects.

List of Construction Works

Interested bidders shall be able to provide documentary evidences mentioned below along with a bid security in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank Guarantee as specified in the bidding document.

I.                     Certificate of registration from Ministry of Construction GC/RC-4 and below] renewed for the year 2018 FEY

II.                   Trade license Renewed for the year 2018 EFY

III.                 VAT registration certificate

IV.                Tax payer registration certificate

V.                  Tax Clearance Certificate which states that the bidder can participate in any public tender, valid at hid submission date

VI.                Registration Certificate in the suppliers list under Public Procurement & Property Administration Agency

Interested eligible bidders may obtain the bidding documents from the Harari Transport and Road Development Bureau RCSFP Office upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 3,000 (Three Thousand Birr) starting from the date of advertisement during working hours.

Bids must be submitted on the fifteenth (15th) calendar day from the date of advertisement, on or before 9:30 am local time morning.

Bids shall be opened at 10:00 AM local time morning, on the same day of hid closing, in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives.

Late bids shall be rejected.

The Harari Transport and Road Development Bureau RCSFP reserves the right to reject all or part of the bids.
