The Ethiopian Orthodox Church Development and Infer Church Aid Commission invites registered contractors of category WWC six and above for lots I and II and WWC five and above for lot I who full fill all the requirements listed below.

The Ethiopian Orthodox Church Development and Infer Church Aid Commission (EOC-DICAC) was established in 1972 as the development wing of the Church and in accordance with Civil Society Organization Proclamation Number 11/3/2019. EOC-DICAC is reregistered as a local organization with registry number 1560 in July 2019. Since its establishment, EOC-DICAC has been engaged in different types of development and humanitarian programs & projects in all parts of the country. Among others, the ongoing projects being implemented Food Security and Climate Resilience Project in Ankober Woreda, North Shewa Zone of Amhara Region.
Accordingly, EOC-DICAC is planning to hire experienced professional contractors who will construct Water Supply Schemes and Small Scale Irrigation in the above woreda.
In order to make ease competition, EOC-DICAC has categorized all the construction activities into three lots, of which lot | Debdebo Kebele Water Supply Scheme, lot I Chefa Kebele Water Supply Schemes and lot Ill Laygorebella Kebele Small Scale Irrigation. Therefore, EOC-DICAC invites registered contractors of category WWC six and above for lots I and II and WWC five and above for lot I who full fill all the requirements listed below. Bidders can participate for more than one lot, but because of the urgency to complete the activities, EOC-DICAC may award the lots to three contractors.
Ø Firms to engage in this tender should have renewed license for the current year, registration certificate from the concerned Ministry office. VAT, TIN, and a valid/current tax Clearance from the concerned body to participate in tender, relevant past experience with supporting documents, adequate technical personnel with renewed professional license, list of construction equipment, submit, financial capacity statement/unconditional credit facility from a recognized bank, recently audited financial statement, testimony of good relationship with previous clients etc.
Ø Interested applicants shall collect documents from EOC-DICAC Head Office located at Arat Kilo in front of Tourist Hotel or from the Coordination Office located at Atse Zerayakob Building from first date of this advertisement for ten consecutive days.
Ø Interested applicants should submit original and copies for the financial quotation/ proposal only and original for technical proposal in separate envelopes with a Bid Bond of 2% of the total price quotation including VAT. to be considered after arithmetic check in the form of certified cheque (CPO) only from recognized bank.
Ø Bidders shall submit their proposals to EOC-DICAC Head Office located at Arat Kilo in front of Tourist Hotel where the tenders' box designated for this purpose at 2nd floor on or before the 10th day of this advertisement up to 10:00 a.m.
Ø Bids shall be valid for 90 days.
Ø Sign and stamp on all pages of both the original and copies of the bid documents.
Ø Bides shall be opened at the 10th day of this advertisement at 10:30 am at the address stipulated above in the presence of interested bidders who choose to attend. If the 10 day is not a working day, the opening date will be the next working day at 10:30 am.
Ø EOC-DICAC has the right to reject the bid fully or partially.
