Tsehay Insurance S.C. (TISC) Invites eligible, licensed, and experienced bidders to participate in the bidding process for the supply, Installation, testing, and commissioning of a Passenger Lift and Standby Generator for its 1/2B+2B+G+9 Head Office Building, located in Addis Ababa. Arada Sub-City, Woreda 05 in front of Addis Abeba Restaurant.
1. Scope of Work
§ The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following Supply installation, testing, and commissioning of passenger (s), complete with all required accessories and safety devices.
§ Supply, installation. testing and commissioning of a stand by generator, including control panel, exhaust system, fuel tank, and all necessary accessories.
§ Execution of all associated electro-mechanical works including cabling, earthing, and integration with existing systems.
§ Provision of training for the Client's technical staff and submission of Operation and Maintenance Manuals
2. Bid Eligibility Requirements
Bidders must meet the following requirements:
§ Be registered Electromechanical Contractors or hold GC-47 BC-4 and above classification.
§ Possess a valid and renewed business license
§ Provide a valid VAT Registration Certificate.
§ Submit a valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
3. Bid Floating and Closing Dat
The bid shall remain open from Yekatit 11, 2018 E.C. and will close on Yekatit 28, 2018 EC. at 4:00 PM Local Time.
Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their authorized representatives on the same date at 4:30 PM Local Time at the Company's Meeting Room, located at Bole Bridge. In front of the former Bross Hospital. Tsehay Insurance S.C., 1st Floor Meeting Room. Addis Ababa.
4. Bid Documents
A complete set of bidding documents may be obtained from the Finance Department upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 1,000.00 (One Thousand Bir).
Documents will be available from Monday to Friday:
§ 2:00AM-6:00AM and 7:00AM-11:00AM Local Time
§ Saturday: 2:00 AM - 6:00 AM Local Time
5. Bid Security
§ All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of ETB 200,000.00 (Two Hundred Thousand Bir) valid for 90 calendar days.
§ The bid security may be in the form of cash Certified Insurance Bid Bond. CPO, or an unconditional Bank Guarantee issued by a reputable Ethiopian Bank.
Bidders are advised to carefully review the blading documents before submission. Failure to comply with the Instructions and conditions stated therein shall result in rejection of the bid.
Tsehay Insurance S.C. reserves the right to reject any bid, either partially or wholly, without assigning any reason.
