Invitation to Choose Local Partners for WASH Activities

Orbis is an international nonprofit humanitarian organization that works in developing countries to save sight worldwide. Orbis prevents and treats blindness through hands on training, public health education, improved access to quality eye care, and partnerships with local health care organizations to eliminate avoidable blindness. Orbis International Ethiopia is legally registered country office, carrying out the same mission in Ethiopia with focuses on trachoma elimination, training, governance, and health system strengthening in urban and rural settings.
Orbis International Ethiopia as part of implementing its Comprehensive Eye Care Service in Gamo, Gofa, Konso, Gardual and Alle Zones, would like to partner and collaborate with experienced WASH implementing NGOS partners working on Development Agenda including WASH in the mentioned zones for the year 2026. In this regard, Orbis Ethiopia is committed to allocate comparable subawards to those WASH partners to support Open Defecation Free initiatives, behavioral change community access to basic sanitation, and developing communication, expanding school WASH infrastructures.
Orbis International Ethiopia is, therefore, inviting call for proposal to all qualified and interested WASH Implementing Partners for subawards for the period from April 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026 based on the terms of Reference and tender Documents prepared fort thus purpose. Those partners working in Gamo, Gofa, Gardula and Alle Zones are more preferred.
Bid documents can be obtained from Orbis International Ethiopia, Head Office and Arba Minch Field Office up on submission of a copy of valid license and bank deposit slip of nonrefundable fee of ETB 500 (Five Hundred ETB) into Orbis Ethiopia's United Bank Account #-1131810577203010.
Bid documents can be collected during working days from Wednesday 16th of March 2026 to 27th of March 2026 between 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
Bidders should submit their offers along with all the required legal documents accompanied by a bid security. The bid proposal shall be submitted to Orbis International Ethiopia and inserted into the bid box prepared for this purpose in a sealed envelope on/ or before 27th of March 2025 between 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
