Invitation for Expression of Interest (EOI) for Strategic Partnership in the Development of the SWP Business Ecosystem

SNV is seeking qualified Solar Water Pump (SWP) companies interested in partnering to enhance and expand a sustainable SWP market ecosystem in 23 zones and 66 woredas in the Sidama, central, south, and southwest regions of Ethiopia. Therefore, SNV invites qualified and reputable SWP companies to submit an expression of interest (EOI) for this opportunity.

The Companies must meet the following eligibility requirements

• Legally registered entities under the relevant Ethiopian law
• Direct involvement in Solar water pump technology business
• Must operate as importers, wholesalers, distributors, or installers of SWP technologies and can provide all services as a fullpackage.
• Bieng ESEDA Members is encouraged

Evaluation and Selection Criteria

The Company will be evaluated according to the extent to which its submitted concept note aligns with the project’s objectives, priorities, and requirements.

Important notes and remark 

• This Expression of Interest (EOI) is not a request for quotation or tender and does not guarantee the award of any contract.
• Only shortlisted companies will be invited to take part in the subsequent partnership process
• The EOI must bear the organization’s stamp and be signed.
• Applications will not be accepted after the specified date.
• SNV retains the right to accept or reject any submission without obligation and may cancel the call in whole or in part.
