1.       The Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Horn of Africa - Groundwater for Resilience Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payments under the contract for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for (Lot 1-Baha-Miyo, Lot -2 Harallo-Dire & Lot-3 Liso- Dillo Woredas) RPS in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional Sate.

2.       The Ministry of Water and Energy now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for Civil Works, Supply and Installation of Pipes and Fittings, Design Review, Supply and Installation of Electromechanical Equipment for (Lot 1-Baha-Miyo, Lot -2 Harallo- Dire & Lot-3 Liso- Dillo Woredas) RPS in Borena Zone, Oromia National Regional Sate.

3.       Bidding will be conducted through National competitive procurement using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank's "Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers" July 2016 updated February 2025 ("Procurement Regulations") and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

4.       Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from The Ministry of Water and Energy and inspect the bidding document during office hours between 9:00 am to 4:00 pm at the address given below paragraph 9.
