The Ethiopian Red Cross Society Oromia Regional Office invites eligible and qualified contractors of category of Electromechanical Contractors, water works contractors, or general contractors of category 5 and above with valid trade license, registration certificate, and eligible for the work. Major parts of the work are supply and installation of the necessary labor, materials and equipment for supply and installation of electro-mechanical work for deep well, and pump test for shallow well in Oromia region, Elu-Ababora zone, Halu Woreda at Gemechisa and Kidane Mahlet Kebele, Table 1, type of work and its Location for each site

1. In Interested eligible bidders can purchase a complete set of bidding document paying a non-refundable ETB 1000 (One Thousand Birr) from ERCS Oromia National Regional Office Tel 011 440 5983 located at Saris -Adey Ababa (Addis Ababa).
2. All tenders must be submitted to Ethiopian Red Cross Society Oromia Regional Office along with a BID SECURITY (BID BOND) in acceptable Forms (CPO ONLY) SPECIFIED IN THE BIDDING DATA SHEET amounting to 2% of the bid offer, on separate envelope. The CPO should be valid for 28 days after bid validity.
3. Financial offer shall be produced in separate envelopes labelled as ORIGINAL and COPY. TECHNICAL OFFER shall be made in a separate third wax sealed envelope clearly labelled as TECHNICAL OFFER. The three envelopes shall then be sealed, signed and stamped inside a sealed, signed and stamped outer envelope, addressed to Ethiopian Red Cross Society whose address is mentioned below.
4. Bid will be close on the 15th calendar days of after the announcement of this bid in the newspapers (Ethiopian Herald) at 2:00 PM and open on the same date at 2:30 PM, ERCS, Oromia National Regional Branch, located at Saris -Adey Ababa (Addis Ababa) and if the date is a holiday (not working day) on the next working date at 10:00AM.
5. Bidders are advised to read the bidding document thoroughly in order to fill all the necessary details requested in the bid document.
6. Failure to comply with the conditions from no.2 to 5 above shall result in an automatic rejection.
7. Ethiopian Red Cross Society Oromia Regional Office reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids without fixing any reason thereof.
