1. The Harari People Regional State Has Allocated Budget for Harari Region Water supply & Sewerage Authority from financed by the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia SDG Budget. The regional Government to intends to apply a portion of SDG budget toward for the procurement of Electro mechanical (Multi stage submersible pump with motors) For Earer Water Supply
2. The Authority now invites sealed bids from eligible bidders and qualified contract for the supply of procurement of Electro mechanical (Multi stage submersible pump with motors) For Earer Water Supply. The delivery periods within 90 days after contract signed.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below during office hours.
4. Qualifications requirements of Suppliers are: Renewed for 2016 EC Trade license, and Tax Paid Clearances Certificate, Registration for Value Added Tax (VAT) and Tax Identification number (TIN).
5. A complete set of bidding documents in English language may be purchased by interested bidders on the submission of a written Application to the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee Ethi. Birr 1,500.00 (One Thousand Five Hundred birr only) or freely convertible currency. The method of payment will be in cash.
6. Bids must be delivered to the address given below before 15 (Fifteen) Consecutive calendar days starting from 1st announcement day Up to 10:00 am at closing date. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened physically in the presence of the bidders or their legal representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10:30 am of closing date.
7. All bids shall be valid for a period of Sixty (60) days after Bid opening and all bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security shall be ETB 100,000.00 (One Hundred Thousand Birr) the form of Unconditional Bank Guarantee or CPO to Harar Water Supply and Sewerage: Authority and shall remain valid for 90 (Ninety) days. For Bank Guarantee the bidders must use the bank guarantee form included in section IV (Bid Forms) of this tendering document.
8. The Authority reserves the right to reject all or part of the bid.
