Invitation for Bid

DEC a National CSO established in 2007, re-registered in May 2019 as per the new Authority for CSO Proclamation by the Ethiopian government bearing a registration number of 0009.

Its objective to contribute towards the national development efforts through integrated, decentralized and sustainable program interventions.

The Development Expertise Center (DEC) is a National Civil Society Organization (CSO) that aspires to see all children and Youth Well-being fostered. The organization has five major program areas: Child Well-being and Education Development, Gender and Life Skill Development, Employable Skill Development, Advocacy and Humanitarian Emergency Response Program. DEC works in seven National Regional States of Afar, Amhara, Benshangul Gumuz, Gambela, Oromia, Tigray, South-West Ethiopia and Addis Ababa City Administration.

Currently, DEC is implementing RAYEE II project in West Shoa, South-West Shoa zones of Oromia and Kaffa and Bench-Sheko zones of South-West Ethiopia region. RAYEE II is a five-year project, funded by the Master Card Foundation and led by SNV, designed to economically empower rural young women.

In line with this, DEC plans to procure the following materials for RAYEE II project: -

1. 1. Brand New Laptop Computer
   2. Desktop Computer
   3. Office Furniture's
   4. It Equipment
   5. Tablet

Therefore, all interested & eligible bidders who are capable, qualified, and technically competent and have a valid license for the current Ethiopian FY can submit their Documents.

Note that:

1. Bidders can collect the Specification and Quantity from the Coordination Office
2. The Supplier Should Have Renewed License for the Year.
3. Development Expertise Centre reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
4. Late applying bids will not be accepted
5. Bidders should indicate the price includes VAT.

Bids should only apply between October 5, 2025, October 11, 20225.

Bids will be opened in the presence of bidders or their representatives who choose to attend at 10:30 am (4:30 local time) on October 13, 2025, at the DEC Office.
