Population Services International Ethiopia (PSI/E) invites qualified and licensed audit firms to submit proposals for the provision of external audit services for its financial statements and compliance requirements. The audit must adhere to ACSO, GAAP, AABE and International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
Scope of Work
The audit firm will be responsible for conducting an annual audit of PSI/Ethiopia NGO and IGAS' financial statements and compliance with applicable laws and regulations. The scope includes reviewing internal controls and issuing an audit report with a management letter. Additionally, the firm is required to participate in the annual stock count and prepare a separate report on the findings as advised.
PREQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS / ELIGIBILITY TO BID
- Renewed business license for the year 2018 E.C., Certificate of TIN and VAT Registration
- Certification: Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) and/or Professional Association
- Minimum of 8 years' experience auditing Local NGOs or INGOS
- Academic degrees copies and professional certifications (ACCA, CPA, FCCA) for all staff
- Demonstrated different donor and client experience supported by reference letters and engagement certificates
- Acceptance to PSI General/Specific Terms & Conditions of Contract
- Financial offer to be quoted in local currency [ETB]
- Validity of Offer - 90 working days
- Period of engagement - immediate
