Invitation for Rendering of External Audit service

CVDA would like to invite qualified and registered audit firms, which are recognized by charities and societies agency to submit their proposals to be appointed as an external auditor to undertake the audit of its accounts from July 8, 2025 up-to July 7, 2026.

Accounts of the organization with about (58) box files of financial documents are ready to be audited should be commented up on notification of the winner. CVDA has only 7 projects of which documents are already available at the head office (A.A).the currency of the organization is ETB. Therefore, eligible audit firms are invited to participate by submitting the following documents:

1. The audit firm profile
2. Renewed trade license of the current year
3. Certificate of competence from the office of federal Audit General
4. AABE Registration: Valid, renewed certificate of competence and professional practice license from the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia
5. Non-Profit Expertise: Minimum of 3 years of proven experience conducting statutory and financial audits specifically for CSOs, NGOs, or donor-funded projects
6. Audit fee to be charged including VAT
7. Certificate of professional competence
8. VAT registration certificate and tax payer identification number (TIN)

• The auditor should produce audit report and management letter
• The auditor should present the audit report for the general assembly.
• The financial and technical proposals shall be submitted separately in a sealed envelope and the period for completing the audit task shall be clearly stated in the technical proposal
• The bid shall be submitted 7 days from announcement
