1. The Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) intends to purchase MV & LV Overhead Line Accessories and Cables through International competitive bidding WB EEU-UEAP/001/2026-2027 (ICB) Lot 1.1 and Lot 1.2.
2. The Ethiopian Electric Utility invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the following MV & LV Overhead Line Accessories and Cables: -

3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open tendering procedures contained in the public procurement proclamation of the government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia and open to all bidders from eligible suppliers.
4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below: -
Monday-Thursday 8:00-12:00 to 13:00-17:00 hours Ethiopian Time
Friday: 8:00-11:30 to 13:30-17:00 hours Ethiopian Time

5. A complete set of bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders starting from August 20, 2026 at the address above and upon payment of a non- refundable fee of against payment receipt of ETB 4,050 or USD 25(exchange rate of 1USD=162 ETB). The method of payment will be cash payment at PPMO cashier's check or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU-Electrification Program Foreign Currency A/C No. 0101181300064 with National Bank of Ethiopia, for foreign currencies (the SWIFT/BIC code for the National Bank of Ethiopia in Addis Ababa is NBETETAA) or deposited to the Ethiopian Electric Utility accounts: EEU-UEAP Account No. 2: 1000604742556, Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (CBE), Mehteme Gandi branch, for the local account.
6. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of the following amounts:

ü The bid security shall be in the name of the bidder /All JV members.
ü The Bid security must be Unconditional counter guaranteed through any reputable Bank in Ethiopia. For Domestic Bidders in ETB Unconditional bank guarantee or CPO
ü The said guarantee shall be valid for a period of Twenty Eighty (28) days beyond the original bid validity period.
7. Bids must be delivered to the address mentioned above before the October 2, 2026 at 14:00 local time. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security as mentioned above.
8. Bids will be opened October 2, 2026 at 14:30 local time presence of the bidders or bidders representatives who choose to attend at the address above on the above mentioned date and time.
9. Bidders are advised to submit their offer after examining the bid document carefully.
10.Ethiopian Electric Utility (EEU) reserves the right to reject all or partial bid.
