INVITATION FOR EXTERNAL AUDIT SERVICES
Neo Micro Finance Institution S.Co. (NMFI), established in 2022 and licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia on July 12, 2022. Our vision is to delivering simplified, user-centric, and digitally driven financial services. Operating from our head office in Addis Ababa with one main branch and a sub-branch in Debre Berhan, we now invite eligible certified audit firms registered under the Accounting and Auditing Board of Ethiopia (AABE) to submit proposals for our upcoming external audit.
Interested firms must meet the Public Auditor criteria set out in AABE Directive No. 1096/2025. The successful firm will audit NMFI's financial records for a three-year term covering the financial years ending June 30, 2027, through June 30, 2029.
Scope of Proposal Requirements
Submissions must include separate technical and financial proposals containing the following documentation and details:
§ Audit firm profile, staff composition, and details of the principal partner
§ Demonstrated previous experience in auditing Microfinance Institutions (MFIs) under IFRS frameworks
§ Renewed trade license for the current fiscal period
§ VAT registration and TIN certificates
§ Estimated time frame and methodology for completing the audit work
§ Any additional credentials or value-added services relevant to the engagement
Submission Details
Both technical and financial proposals must be submitted no later than September 10, 2026.
