The items for sale will be available for viewing at UNICEF GERJI warehouse during the period 27 to 30 April 2026, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Location:
From Salite Mehret (Megenagna), head south toward Gerji for about 1.5 km. Pass the Meta Abo factory, and shortly after, turn onto the side road leading to the UNICEF Gerji Warehouse, on the way to St Egziabher Ab Church.
Alternatively, insert the Plus Code 2R69+RQC, Addis Ababa on Google Maps.
Bidders should observe the following in their bidding process:
1. Bid documents will be available during Viewing dates, from 27 to 30 April 2026 at the Gerji warehouse – bid documents can be purchased for ETB 50.
2. Bidders are required to submit a bid guarantee in the form of a CPO, as specified in the bid documents.
3. Bidders shall only use UNICEF-issued bid documents to submit their offers. Bid offers submitted in any other format will be disqualified.
4. Bidders may inspect the physical condition of the items available for display during the viewing dates mentioned above. All items will be sold strictly on an “as-is, where-is” basis, as specified in a bid document.
5. UNICEF reserves its right to proceed with or cancel this bid in part or in full.
6. Government taxes, dues and title transfer fees (if any) related to the purchased items will be covered by buyers.
7. Bidders must submit their offers in sealed envelopes, clearly marked with their full address including their land and cell phone numbers.
8. Bid winners will be notified after three weeks following the bid closing date, upon completion of the bid evaluation process, using the contact details they have provided.
Bidders should place their bid offers at UNICEF GERJI warehouse with sealed envelope marked “BID FOR USED Generators, ICT EQUIPMENT and OFFICE FURNITURE” from 27 to 30 April 2026, in person.
