INVITATION TO TENDER
SUPPLY OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF FOOD AND FOOD ITEMS. TENDER REFERENCE: SHBS 2026
The Somall Regional State shaygosh Boarding School intends to establish framework agreements for the supply of food and food stuff items for a period of one year, extendable for another year, as well as student uniforms. Therefore, all interested and eligible suppliers are invited to participate in this tender, in accordance with the service specifications, bidder instructions, and general terms and conditions which can be obtained from the school office starting from 18/08/2026 to 23/08/2026.
The tender consists of the following lots:
Lot 1: Dry food items such as rice, spaghetti, macaroni, sugar, powdered milk, and cooking oil. These will be supplied on a monthly basis under a yearly agreement.
Lot 2: vegetables, spices and flavors, and different types of freshmen's to be provided on daily basis through yearly contractual agreement basis
Lot 3: 450 student uniforms, tailored specifically for boys and girls according to student needs. This is a two-time contract.
Tender Document Collection:
Tender documents can be obtained from August 23, 2026, to August 28, 2026, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of ETB 200, payable at the Shaygosh Boarding School office.
Eligibility Requirements:
1. Valid business license (EC 2018), VAT certificate, and Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).
2. Bid security in the name of "Somall Regional State shaygosh Boarding School" amounting to 1.5% of the Total bid price, submitted as a CPO or Bank Guarantee valid for 2 months from the date of submission. It must be placed in a separate envelope and attached to the technical bid. (Cash and Insurance bonds will not be accepted.)
3. Company profile including address, branches, organizational structure, and company resources.
4. Evidence of past satisfactory performance In supplying similar goods.
Bid Submission Instructions:
· Bids must be submitted in two sealed envelopes: one technical and one financial, clearly labeled with the bidder's name, address, tender reference number (SHBS 2025), and the title of the bid.
· Bids must be deposited in the designated tender box at the school office and finance office no later than September 01, 2026, at 2:00 PM.
· The Shaygosh Boarding School Tender Committee will open the bids on September 05, 2026, at 10:00 AM.
Note: Shaygosh Boarding School reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, in whole or in part.
